100 Kobudo Kata Challenge Certificates of Participation now available for download

Konnichi wa fellow 100 Kata Challengers!

With only 6 days left until the 100 Kobudo Kata Challenge we are getting very excited!

We now have participants signed up from over 20 countries! That’s an amazing response and we can’t wait to see your pictures and videos from your dojo. We will put a Gallery Page on our website soon to display everything that you send us. We will post that link soon after the event. You can send us your pictures and videos via this Facebook page, or email them to us via info@challengeokinawa.com. For large video files we suggest you upload the file to your Youtube page first, then send us the link.

And we have completed the Certificate of Participation templates for the event. These are FREE to download and we encourage dojo owners and instructors to use these certificates to recognise the spirit and dedication of their dojo members who are taking the Challenge!

Hi everyone. What an amazing event the 100 Kata Challenge became, and it was all down to you. Your response and enthusiasm to take on the challenge was incredible and by Karate Day we had over 300 dojo around the world signed up and ready to do their 100 Kata. It truly was a worldwide day of celebration of karate, led from Okinawa, the birthplace of the art.

We asked you to share your videos and pictures with us and the email and Facebook messages have just kept coming! Its been hard to keep up but we have posted most of them on our Gallery page – click here to view

100 Kata Challenge event LIVE on uStream – from Okinawa


We are going to try to live stream some of the 100 Kata for Karate Day 2014 event from Okinawa.
