100 Kata Challenges – Kobudo Day 2024 and Karate Day 2024

100 Kobudo Kata Challenge 2024 event – Sunday, March 31st

Do you practice “kobudo”, traditional weapons arts from Okinawa and Japan? If so why not join our next 100 Kata Challenge event on March 31st, 2024 and take on the challenge of performing 100 Kobudo kata?
What is your preferred weapon? Bo, sai, nunchaku maybe? How about kama or even eku? In Okinawa kobudo practice goes hand in hand with karate practice (no pun intended!) as part of the traditional “bushi / samuree” martial skillset passed down from generation to generation over hundreds of years.

Register your participation in the 100 Kobudo Kata Challenge 2024

What’s so special about October 25th? Why has it become “World Karate Day”?
In 1936 a council of leading Okinawan teachers decided on
空手 (karate) as the name for their art. Since then this art has spread around the world improving the lives of millions of practitioners.
